What You Need To Know About Your Thailand Surgery Costs

Your Surgery Costs

FOREIGN EXCHANGE RATES (FX)

To clarify our pricing and the foreign exchange (FX): Your surgery package price is listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). However, the underlying pricing is based on Thai currency (THB), as package components like hotels, hospital, and surgeon costs are paid for in Thailand. Your surgery package cost and invoice have been calculated using a currency exchange rate of 1 Australian Dollar = 23 Thai Baht.

Due to fluctuations in exchange rates, there may be times when a surcharge is necessary to cover any cost differences. The exchange rate between the Australian Dollar (AUD) and the Thai Baht (THB) can vary. These fluctuations are beyond our control and may affect the final cost of your package. We strive to provide accurate pricing, but we cannot predict or manage changes in the foreign exchange market. Therefore, any surcharge is required to ensure all services and inclusions are covered appropriately.

FINAL PAYMENT

Your final Invoice is due and payable in full a minimum of 6 weeks before your surgery date. See your Invoice for payment methods. Note: A surcharge applies to all credit card payments. AMEX is not accepted.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Review our Cancellation Policy to understand what happens if your surgery does not proceed. Cancellation Policy

ADDITIONAL PRE-SURGERY TESTS

In some cases, you may be required to have additional pre-surgery testing. Please note these tests cannot be predetermined; therefore, the cost is not included in your package.

POST-SURGERY SUPPORT GARMENTS

Whilst some procedures include a basic post-surgery support garment, others don’t. We highly recommend purchasing garments before you travel to Thailand so that you have spares available. You will find a range of garments available online.

STAINED LINEN CHARGES AT HOTEL

Hotels often apply additional charges for stains or bodily fluids on bed linen and towels. We highly recommend that you do not dye your hair or apply fake tan lotions; AND bring a disposable mattress protector or ask your Liaison in Thailand to assist in purchasing one in Thailand.
