“The very best thing about my experience with CosMediTour was the simple fact that never once during my trip did I ever have to wonder “what do I do next? How do I get to this place, or what do I do when this happens, etc?” Everything was taken care of for me. From airport and hotel transfers, to the pre-op tests, it was all laid out for me and I never felt anxious about a single thing because I knew that Dayna and the team would respond to any query I might have with confidence and care.
I now “know the ropes” so to speak about dealing with an overseas hospital and there’s no more fear of the unknown, but even so when I go back to Thailand to finish off my procedures (lower body lift and then possible BA), I will definitely use CosMediTour again because of the comfort factor of having someone look after you the way they do. Their service and the level of care they provide set my mind at ease in a way I don’t think anything else could have. I highly recommend that anyone thinking of a cosmetic holiday talk to the team at CosMediTour because they really, really care for their clients.
All the staff at the AETAS Bangkok Hotel (from wait staff in the restaurant, to concierge/bellmen, to ladies in the spa, and the wonderful staff in the AETAS lounge) were all lovely and kind, always helpful, respectful and just a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was too much to ask, they were always happy to help.
The room was stunning – huge bathroom, comfortable bed with luxurious linen, all the comforts of home.
Cannot say enough about Dr. Rungkit and the nurses at Bangpakok9 International Hospital that helped me with my recovery. I’ve never felt so well looked after in my life. It was wonderful to see the same faces every day and really made a difference with continuity of care. The lovely ladies on the International Ward were so wonderful to me, they even went out of their way to speak to me on the phone my last day in Bangkok when the hospital rang to organise my transfers back to the airport from the hotel – 4 of the staff asked to speak to me and say goodbye and good luck! It was an incredible experience and I would highly recommend BPK9 and the surgeons and staff there to anyone.
I just want to say a HUGE thank you (even though those words alone can never match what I feel in my heart!) to CosMediTour for their absolute generosity in hosting the competition that I won. Honestly, even though I am still VERY swollen (measuring almost the same as before I left for Bangkok!), this experience has changed my life.
I was 160kg at my biggest, and I am proud to have lost close to 80kg with the help of a lap band, proper diet and exercise. But I was left with a large deposit of fat on one thigh/hip that just would never shift. My right thigh was 10cm+ bigger around than my left… but I could not afford the $14,000 price tag of getting it fixed here in Australia. And then I saw the CosMediTour competition on Facebook last winter.
I still can’t even believe that I won the Judge’s Choice Prize of a $12,000 package, including $4,000 worth of surgery. We’ve been and come back and it is still like a dream! Once the swelling goes down, I will be able to wear pants that fit my size 14 waist instead of my size 18-20 thigh! I will be able to sit at a school assembly and watch my kids get an award without worrying about the “overhang” into someone else’s personal space. I will be able to get in a pool and swim and play with my boys without feeling that lump of fat floating beside me. And perhaps the arthritis that is in early stages in my right knee due to the excess weight it carries above it will stop its progression. It is a new lease on life for me! I can dance and run and be myself rather than trying to hide. Thank you SO much CosMediTour, and I WILL be back to finish the job (excess skin removal) once the swelling goes down! Watch this space!
