Ziggy’s Facelift Transformation on Operation Thailand Goes Viral!
Operation Thailand Episode 2 aired Tuesday May 9. The episode featured 59 year old CosMediTour client Ziggy who travelled to Thailand to turn back the clock and have Facelift surgery with Dr. Montien. Her life changing experience is now going VIRAL in the media as she talks up Thailand’s Medical Tourism Industry with Daily Mail Australia.
Registered nurse Zena ‘Ziggy’ Smith remembers listening to some music with a patient who pointed out that the tune ‘probably came from her era.’ The patient went on to suggest that she’d remember the song because she’s ‘in her 60s’. But the Adelaide-based Ziggy was only in her mid-50s. “It shocked me. I had put on an awful lot of weight over the course of about seven years. I had become really overweight and sick,” the now 59-year-old told Daily Mail Australia.
‘I decided to get a facelift to get some of myself back again. My eyelids had gotten so much heavier that my eyes never stopped watering. I have no double chin now!’ Ziggy said.
‘The best part of the whole trip was learning to love myself again. I feel worthwhile now. If I feel like I love me again I want to look like I love me again,’ she continued.

The Adelaide local is a fierce advocate for getting facial reconstruction surgery in Thailand over her homeland. ‘Australia just doesn’t have the same level of experience as the doctors in Thailand. In Thailand they are world leaders and experts in the field. Part of the reason they’re world leaders is they have a lot of transgender changes over there. We just don’t have the same statistics. As a fellow health professional I did a lot of research before making the trip and felt really comfortable with my choice.
