Packing for your surgery trip doesn’t need to be overwhelming. While you might be dreaming of the destination, the reality of recovery requires a specific set of essentials. We have broken down exactly what to bring, and what to leave behind, so you can arrive in Thailand feeling prepared, relaxed, and ready for your transformation.
Important Items
These are things you simply cannot forget.
- Passport & travel documents (printed & electronic)
- Surgery details/documents (printed & electronic)
- Credit Card, Debit Card, or Foreign Currency Card
- Currency (say 3000THB cash to get started)
- Laptop/ tablet & mobile devices (and their chargers)
- Thailand power adapter
- Face mask, hand sanitiser, tissues, & pillow for the flight
- Any extra Post-surgery support garments & ice packs
- Gentle laxatives (anaesthetic may cause uncomfortable constipation)
- List of questions to ask your surgeon at consultation
- Pictures of your desired results
Clothing/Toiletries
- Comfortable, light-weight clothing (front zip/button-up for easy removal post-surgery)
- Slippers/comfy bed socks
- Warm jumper, hoodie, cardigan, or dressing gown (front zip or open front/tie around)
- Hat, sunglasses & sunscreen
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Slip-on shoes/thongs
- Body care (face wash, body wash, moisturiser, deodorant)
- Hair care (shampoo, conditioner, brush, hair ties etc)
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
Hospital Stay Bag
- Passport, Copy of Travel Insurance, Credit Card, small amount of THB cash
- Mobile devices, laptop/tablet, chargers
- Clean change of clothes & underwear (loose fit/easy to get on and off)
- Basic Toiletries
- Post-surgery support garments
- Regular medications (if advised to do so)
