1.6 The Warranty must be purchased by the Client and accepted by CosMediTour before departure for surgery in Thailand.

1.7 Clients are responsible for comprehending all information conveyed during the arrangements process before departure, whether communicated over the phone or via email with CosMediTour personnel.

1.8 The Warranty applies for corrective surgery at Samitivej Chinatown Hospital (SCT) in Bangkok, ViMUT Hospital in Bangkok, and Phuket Plastic Surgery Institute (PPSI) in Phuket.

1.9 The Warranty is valid for 12 months from the initial surgery date.

1.10 CosMediTour will assess all claims and, subject to the terms of our Privacy Policy, may share certain personal information, such as your medical history and images, with other Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons that CosMediTour is associated with to obtain further professional opinions relating to your surgical outcomes and claims.

1.11 CosMediTour and the Hospital Review Board will determine any Warranty claim on a case-by-case basis.

1.12 All communications with CosMediTour must maintain objectivity, fairness, and reasonableness during the review process on your behalf.

1.13 You must provide quality photographs to CosMediTour by email within 4 weeks post-surgery, then 3 months and 6 months post-surgery.  CosMediTour is not responsible for following up on the receipt of these photos or reminding clients of outstanding photos.

Coverage of surgical costs is only available for proven objective surgical error, not aesthetic complaints.

1.16 The Warranty only covers the Client undertaking the corrective surgery procedure/s. Expenses for any accompanying companion or family members will be at an additional cost and paid for directly to CosMediTour at the time of booking.

1.17 Not all cosmetic plastic surgery procedures result in perfect outcomes, and the unpredictable nature of cosmetic surgery, combined with client expectations, client anatomy, and genetics, may lead to corrective surgery.

1.18 The Warranty is only valid for cases where valid concerns or issues arise directly from the surgery, surgeon error, or hospitalisation.  The Warranty does not cover the inherent risks of surgery.

1.19 In the case of capsular contracture, for first-time breast augmentation clients with implants less than 500cc, with full proof and detailed reports, and where this has occurred within 12 months post-surgery, the Warranty will cover this, including the cost of replacement comparable implants.

1.20 Any corrective surgery must be reviewed, accepted, and approved in writing by your original plastic surgeon, the Hospital Review Board, and CosMediTour before any arrangements are confirmed for your return to Thailand. This review process may take several weeks or more.

1.21 You may be required to wait a further 6 to 12 months post-surgery for a final corrective surgery determination to be made by the Surgeon and Hospital Review Board, by which time a final review can be made.

1.22 In the case of Client negligence or other breaches of the Warranty conditions resulting in the requirement for revision or corrective surgery, the Warranty contribution, if any, will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

1.23 Compression garments, when recommended, must be worn according to your Surgeon’s instructions.

1.24 You must follow pre-and post-operative care instructions and advice from your surgeon, CosMediTour, and any other medical practitioner or healthcare personnel at the hospital who may be required to provide advice, including medication recommendations, restricted activities, and follow-up care. You must complete the post-surgery follow-up consultation (at the set time given to you at the hospital) with your Surgeon.

1.25 You must stop smoking or vaping for at least 6 weeks before and after your surgery.

1.26 You must avoid any alcohol at least 4 weeks before and post-surgery.

2.1 All travel arrangements must be booked by and paid to CosMediTour. Flights booked by CosMediTour must be confirmed within 48 hours of notification to the Client.  Delays in confirmation by the Client may incur re-booking costs.

2.2 There will be no reimbursements for any direct travel purchased by clients.

2.3 If you cancel flights and other travel arrangements booked for corrective surgery under the Warranty, cancellation fees will apply and will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

2.4 Confirmation of the corrective surgery date must occur at least 90 days before the scheduled travel date to allow ample time for CosMediTour to organise all necessary arrangements and secure appropriate flights. No bookings will be considered within 60 days of the proposed revision surgery or during the high/peak season in Phuket, which typically spans from December to March.  Clients wanting to travel during these peak season dates will incur additional flight surcharges and extra hotel expenses, which will be payable by the client.

3.1 If a claim pertains to the 'aesthetic outcome' of surgery, the Surgeon and Hospital Review Board will assess whether revision surgery is necessary or warranted under the Warranty.

3.2 The Warranty will be voided if you request alterations to any aspect of your procedure against your surgeon's recommendations during the face-to-face consultation with your surgeon before surgery.

3.3 If your surgeon agrees to proceed with your requested changes against their recommendations, and any revision surgery or medical treatment is deemed necessary as a direct consequence of this decision, you will be responsible for covering all costs associated with revision surgery and travel.

3.4 Breast Lift or Breast Reduction surgery that is combined with a breast implant in one stage is considered high risk. If at the time of your consultation you choose to add a breast implant to your original Breast Lift or Breast Reduction package, your Warranty may or may not be voided.

3.5 Breast implants requested by you in a different shape, size, and profile from your original implants will be determined by the Surgeon and Hospital Review Board, and additional costs will apply.

3.6 Upon returning from Thailand following breast surgery, if you experience any concerns such as capsular contracture, implant displacement, shape alteration, or potential hardening, it is essential to seek a professional medical consultation for a thorough examination. Submit all relevant reports, including ultrasound and/or MRI findings, detailing the diagnosis for review by CosMediTour and the Surgeon and Surgery Review Board.

3.7 CosMediTour will not accept any client self-diagnosis of any potential issue.

3.8 The cost of any consultations, physical examinations, pathology, radiology, and other tests undertaken by the Client in determining any evidence required to establish if revision surgery is warranted are not covered.
